Asus Google Nexus 7 Android 4.1

Google has  officially announced the launch of the Nexus 7, which has been built by ASUS and arrives on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Nexus 7 as the name suggests is a 7 inch tablet and is basically integrated to the Google Play which lets users have a great experience of the Playwit Apps, Music, Movies, Books, Magazines and Games.
Specs wise the tablet features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor with a 12-core GPU, a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera, a rated battery life of 9 hours for video and 300 hours of stand by time via a 4325 mAh, NFC and 8GB and 16GB memory options. The Nexus 7 will be a Wi-Fi only model, Google is yet to announce a model for cellular networks.
The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has been devised to deliver content from the Google Play store. Google has updates numerous apps like YouTube and Maps, which features a new ‘Compass’ mode that works via the gyroscope for a natural indoor view. The Google Play store now supports purchase of movies and magazines that can be viewed on the Nexus 7 and Google has also added a neat widget for detecting music.
The Nexus 7 will have Chrome as its default web browser, but Google has not yet revealed if Chrome has been integrated into Android Jelly Bean. Even the Google Currents aggregation app has been updated with Google Translate being baked into it.
The Nexus 7 is up on orders over the Google Play Store and is available in the US, Canada and couple of other countries. More countries will be added later. Nexus 7 would ship in mid-July and is priced at (as expected) $199 for the 8GB version and $249 for the 16 GB version.
Google will give $25 credit for the Nexus 7 owners on the Google Play Store and the device will ship with a copy of Transformers: The Dark of Moon, the Bourne Dominion E-Book and a few magazines.
